Listen up! Girl's softball is getting better at ESAA for those girls going into 7th and 8th grades this fall. Normally, 8th grade girls are too old to play in the ESAA. Next season, ESAA is attempting to reorganize girls softball into four leagues (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, & 7-8).

The 7-8 grade league will be playing REAL fast pitch softball!!!
* 12-inch regulation softball
* Stealing - runner can leave the base after the ball leaves the pitchers hands.
* Sliding mandatory on close plays so please invest in sliding pants.
* Drop-third strike rule
* Infield fly rule

Basically, more fun and excitement.
